Creation Hiatus

I’ve decided that I need to focus on real life stuff for a while, so I’m not going to be doing any writing or meta or art or creating things this month, I’ll still be around livejournal and tumblr, but probably less than usual, so feel free to send me a message if you want to talk. And there are probably going to be more personal posts as I sort through stuff, I’ll try not to get too whiny. I’m also posting the prompts at prompt_critical this month, if anyone wants to check the comm. out. And I’m still planning on continuing the stuff I’ve been doing in June and July.
So stuff to come in June/July/August:

• Multi-chapter fic exploring the mythology and history of Mystic Falls, especially the doppelgangers


• Bonnie + Rebekah empowerment/growth fic that was supposed to be for heroine bigbang but will just be a normal fic now


• Klaus/Stefan/Damon fic that’s a sequel to control (yeah that’s been in the woodwork for a while)


• Elijah + dying!Klaus fic for anon on tumblr


• Chapters 11 & 12 of ‘I am Neal’


• Meta discussing the mythology and history of Mystic Falls and the founding families


• Meta discussing the characterisation of the Originals

That's a very strong list of creative goals!

I totally "get" needing a hiatus from creating for a while. A month is a good measurement of time, imo.

LOL, thanks, yeah, I've been meaning to do some of them for a while, so I thought I'd put a list together.

I thought I wanted to take a break, but I haven't. Yet. I am not writing a ton of original and that's a tiny bit worrisome but sometimes it takes....incubating time.

Cool, I do wonder whether anyone's interested in my personal posts so it's nice to know you're looking forward to them :).

Incubating does have its advantages, so many revelations about something I'm writing happens when I'm not actively writing it.
