This was really interesting and I like the jittery style. I'm thankful to have parents that support me, but one of my first boyfriends had a mother a lot like Mary's parents - it was terrible to see him have to hide himself whenever she was around. I'd like to think their relationship is better now.
I enjoyed this, and am glad it had a happy (but still very real) ending. :)
