I was going to write a passengers-esque story about a husband and wife travelling across the galaxy together in cryo sleep and one waking up and the other not. Then comes the quandry; whether or not to wake their significant other. And they are both left to live their lives alone. In different times, regretting what could've been.

There are hard choices we all have to make and we can only try to make the ones that won't leave us with regrets. Or the one that will leave us with fewer regrets, the choice that we can live with.

I've got a lot on my plate at the moment. I don't have much time or energy for writing and what time and energies I do have I've decided to spend on writing my novel. For these reasons I'm bowing out of Idol.

This has been my sacrifice post.

Happy New Year.

*cries* I'm so sorry to hear this, J.

But...I do understand. I hope 2019 brings more words from you into this space. I also wish you ALL THE BEST of the words and the characters and the emotions and the story for your writing!

Oh :/ I have always enjoyed your stories but then I would also say a novel in making is worth this sacrifice. Have a wonderful and productive 2019. Looking forward to reading you next season. Cheers! Take care.

Sometimes you do have to choose where to put your energy and time. I hope 2019 lets you achieve the things you most want to do :)

I'm always sorry to see someone go this way, but I can completely understand. I hope things settle down for you as the year progresses and that your find more time to work on your novel. It has been a pleasure writing beside you.

I would have enjoyed reading that story, and I'm so sorry it's come to this. I'm glad you joined us while you could, and shared such interesting stories with us.

I hope things get less hectic soon!
