I’m relatively new to Dreamwidth and looking forward to taking part in the fun!

I have to admit though, that this first prompt left me feeling a little excited and a little melancholy. Because I’ve done the friending memes and the ‘about me’s’ and the masterlists, for years and years, I’ve poured my heart and soul into a community that’s now mostly gone. And I get that Dreamwidth is a fresh start, supposed to be a new and exciting one. But I can’t help but feel like an old-timer, staring up at a hill I once ran up, and it feels too unwieldy, too treacherous a path to start again from scratch.

I’m here, because I hope I can navigate the path anyway, and hopefully this will lead to some precious treasure like (or maybe unlike) before.

1) Friending

Making friends is one of the things we’re here for isn’t it? I’m happy for people to friend and will usually friend back. Though I do tend to be a lurker; I don’t often post. And when I do it’s usually fanfic.

2) Interests

I’ve been in various fandoms over the last seventeen years. My current obsessions are Brooklyn 99 and the MCU. (Good Omens is also definitely creeping up there). I like to write both fanfic and original fiction. Here’s a list of my favourite things: Youtubers- Vlogbrothers and screen junkies, Podcasts- Dear Hank and John and Welcome to NightVale, books- Discworld.

Ooh cool. Which are your favourite characters from Brooklyn 99 and the MCU? I'm also really behind on Welcome to Nightvale, but I don't really try to keep up to date with it.

Also, I've only managed to scroll up to 'f' and am already squeeing a lot because Farscape and Firefly! Awesome shows are awesome! (I also love Dirk Gently and Doctor Who and my younger self liked to think I was just like Daria, even though I'm nothing like her. I've written a couple of firefly fics and doctor who fics. And oh wow I forgot that Eerie Indiana was a thing that exists, but I think that may've been my sole source of horror fiction at one point in my life).

I don't even really break down Brooklyn 99 by favorite characters because it's the interaction of all of them together that's so fantastic. Okay, that said, Rosa is 100% the coolest one.

I love Bruce Banner & Hulk, Thor, Spiderman, Captain America, every single character in Guardians of the Galaxy. I loved Thor: Ragnarok and last time I checked AO3 I could still claim to have written the only Hulk/Korg fic on the entire site.

Cool, I love Rosa, and you're totally right, every single character pair has such amazing, well-developed interactions. And that is what makes the show. (Amy's my favourite).

Amy would definitely be my favorite if she were a real person. Or maybe Terry. I'd be terrified of Rosa in real life. Charles would be too annoying. Even Jake would probably be too much. Captain Holt would intimidate the crap out of me. But as characters, they're all fantastic.

Yeah I agree, Amy probably would be the best to know in real life. I love Jake but I feel like if I knew him in real life I would be constantly offended. I could maybe put up with Charles if he had an 'annoying cringe things' jar where he had to put a dollar every time he did cringey things.

Your fic: I didn't know how much I needed this until now. I've only read the first chapter so far, but I really love the way you characterise Korg and the humour is brilliant!

Yay! Once I got the idea of Korg and Hulk as a couple in my head, I couldn't let it go. Wouldn't they be adorable? I have no idea where the chocolate chip cookies came from but it was one of the first details that popped into my brain, hence the title.
