J. WOW. SERIOUSLY WOW. You are hitting these sci-fi pieces out of the park and this one is the best of the bunch, imo. I'm beyond impressed with your world building but even more impressed at your ability to get that world into the reader's head almost immediately. This is flawless, astonishing work. Go, you!
